Hi, I'm Liz Adams. I love running with my mates (Covid-permitting), cycling in the Yorkshire Dales, strength training and open water swimming (ok, probably summer months only for that last one).
I'm very lucky to spend my working days doing what I love; working with clients towards their individual goals and seeing them improve their fitness, confidence, health and happiness.
I set up downdogdays in 2015, offering Personal training, yoga and massage all under one roof.
The downdogdays gym is in Bramhope, just north of Leeds. It is private, quiet and kitted out with lots of equipment for you to play with.
The gym is a Covid-secure environment, so you can train safely (current guidelines permitting). You can also choose to have personal training and yoga online.
I have been a regular at the Strength & Conditioning class at The Running and Movement Studio since it started in January 2019.
I've managed to get a personal best in every distance I've run since May last year.
Liz's classes have helped me achieve these times as I doubt I would have managed it without the strength work. The classes are very friendly. Liz concentrates on ensuring we improve our technique. I would highly recommend trying out the class.
